Vape accessories wholesale: glass, batteries, chargers and cotton
This collection holds the vape accessories that keep refillable kits and tanks working: replacement tank glass, rechargeable cells, battery chargers and wicking cotton. Most are low-cost parts that customers need at short notice, often when something has cracked or run flat.
Having the right spare in stock turns a customer who might buy a new device elsewhere into one who comes back to you for parts.
Accessories only sell if they fit what your customers own. Work out the stock from your device range, not the other way round.
Tank glass
Glass is model-specific. Stock glass for the vape tanks you sell, as it's the part most often broken.
Cells
Box mods that take removable cells need the right size; check whether a mod uses 18650, 20700 or 21700.
Chargers
External chargers let customers charge spare cells while vaping on another pair.
Cotton
Only rebuildable atomiser users need cotton, so keep a few packs rather than a large stock.
A tidy accessories rack by the till, with glass labelled by tank model and cells by size, saves staff time and stops customers buying the wrong part. Glass costs little to hold and turns over quickly.
Spare parts, reusable vapes and take-back
Accessories sit at the centre of the rules on reusable vapes and electrical waste. The key points for retailers:
Parts on sale
Government guidance on the single-use vape ban says refills and replacement parts should be available to buy separately.
Inspections
Retailers may be asked to show that parts are available for the devices they sell.
Battery take-back
Shops selling more than 32kg of portable batteries a year must take back waste batteries free.
Charger rules
Mains chargers need a UKCA or CE mark and maker details, and WEEE take-back applies to electricals.
Duty is charged on vaping liquid, not on glass, cells or chargers. Our retailer compliance guide covers the single-use ban and TPD rules in more depth.
Buying vape accessories in bulk
A few pointers when ordering parts:
Check the tank name twice. Glass for similar-sounding models, such as TFV8 Baby and TFV8 Big Baby, isn't interchangeable.
Keep cells in pairs. Dual-cell mods need matched pairs, so stock two-packs where available.
Advise on safe charging. Recommend a proper external charger rather than charging loose cells in a mod unattended.
Add parts to every hardware order. Accessories count towards free delivery on orders over £150.
Frequently asked questions
What's included in your vape accessories range?
+
The range covers replacement tank glass, rechargeable 18650, 20700 and 21700 cells, external battery chargers and wicking cotton for rebuildable atomisers. Coils and pods have their own collections. The product grid above shows everything currently in the accessories collection, with prices per unit or pack.
Why should I stock replacement glass?
+
Tank glass cracks easily if a device is dropped. Without spare glass the customer may buy a new tank or device elsewhere. Glass is cheap to stock, quick to sell and model-specific, so carry it for the tanks you sell most and label it by model.
Do I have to sell replacement parts?
+
Government guidance on the single-use vape ban says refills and replacement parts such as pods and coils should be available for customers to buy separately, and retailers may be asked to show this at inspection. Glass and cells help keep reusable devices in use too.
Which battery size does a mod take?
+
It depends on the mod. Many take 18650 cells, while others use 20700 or 21700, and some have a built-in battery. Check the mod's listing or manual and match the cell size and quantity before recommending one to a customer, and suggest a charger at the same time.
Do I have to take back old batteries?
+
Shops that sell more than 32kg of portable batteries a year must take back waste batteries free of charge. Electrical items like chargers fall under WEEE rules, which require take-back in store or membership of the Distributor Take-back Scheme. GOV.UK sets out the details.
Is there duty on vape accessories?
+
No. Vaping Products Duty is charged on vaping liquid at £2.20 per 10ml from 1 October 2026. Glass, cells, chargers, cotton, coils and empty devices don't carry the duty, though the e-liquid your customers put in their tanks does carry it.
