What's in our 50ml shortfill wholesale range?
This page lists our wholesale 50ml e-liquids: nicotine-free shortfills that take one 10ml nic shot. Brands include Dinner Lady, IVG, Riot Squad, Nasty Juice, Ultimate Puff, Pukka, Just Juice and Doozy, with flavour picked on each listing.
The 50ml size is a lower-commitment bottle. It suits customers trying a new flavour, those who rotate between several, and shops that want to carry a wide flavour wall without tying up too much stock in one line.
One bottle, one shot: the 50ml mix
A 50ml shortfill is built around a single nicotine shot, which makes it easy for customers to get right.
As sold: 0mg
50ml of nicotine-free liquid for customers who don't use nicotine.
Plus one 18mg shot
Adding one 10ml 18mg shot makes 60ml at 3mg.
Plus one 15mg shot
A 15mg shot makes 60ml at 2.5mg, for a slightly softer mix.
That one-to-one pairing makes 50ml bottles a simple sell: one shortfill, one nic shot. Customers who settle on a favourite flavour often move up to 100ml shortfills, while customers who want something lighter in throat hit can look at 50/50 lines. Most 50ml shortfills are high-VG and suit sub-ohm tanks and larger vape kits rather than small pod devices.
Duty on 50ml shortfills
Vaping Products Duty is charged on every 10ml of vaping liquid from 1 October 2026, including nicotine-free shortfills. For the 50ml size it works out like this:
£11 per bottle
Each 50ml shortfill carries £11 of duty.
£13.20 for a full mix
Add one 10ml shot at £2.20 and a 60ml mix carries £13.20 in total.
Stamps from October
Duty-paid products released from 1 October 2026 need a duty stamp.
Sell-through deadline
Unstamped stock made or imported before 1 October 2026 can be sold until 31 March 2027.
With half the duty of a 100ml bottle, 50ml shortfills give customers a lower entry price for a new flavour. Our vape tax guide and retailer compliance guide cover duty, stamps, TPD and age checks.
Ordering 50ml e-liquids for your shop
Some pointers for building a 50ml range that sells through:
- Use 50ml for trial flavours. Stock new or seasonal flavours in 50ml first and move the winners into 100ml.
- Build by brand range. Ranges such as Dinner Lady Ice or IVG Menthol let customers find a style they like and stick with it.
- Stock one shot per bottle. Keep roughly one 18mg or 15mg nic shot on hand for each 50ml bottle.
- Rotate older stock. Sell unstamped bottles before 31 March 2027 and put them at the front of the shelf.
Frequently asked questions
How much nicotine is in a 50ml shortfill?
+
None as sold. Shortfills are nicotine-free because UK TPD rules only allow nicotine e-liquid in bottles up to 10ml. The 50ml bottle has space for one 10ml nicotine shot, which the customer adds and shakes in to reach their chosen strength.
What strength does one shot make in a 50ml shortfill?
+
One 10ml 18mg shot added to 50ml makes 60ml at 3mg. A 15mg shot makes 60ml at 2.5mg. Customers who want a stronger nicotine hit are usually better suited to 10ml e-liquids or nic salts, which are sold with nicotine already added.
How much duty is on a 50ml shortfill?
+
From 1 October 2026, Vaping Products Duty is £2.20 per 10ml, so a 50ml shortfill carries £11. Each 10ml nic shot carries £2.20. Unstamped stock made or imported before October 2026 can be sold until 31 March 2027.
Should I stock 50ml or 100ml shortfills?
+
Most shops stock both. 50ml bottles suit customers trying a new flavour or rotating between several, and have a lower duty cost per bottle. 100ml bottles suit regular customers who know their favourite flavour and want fewer trips.
Which devices suit 50ml shortfills?
+
Most 50ml shortfills are high-VG, so they work in sub-ohm tanks and vape kits built for bigger vapour. Thick high-VG liquid can struggle in small pod kits, where 10ml nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids are a better fit.
Can I mix 50ml shortfills with other products in one order?
+
Yes. Shortfills can be ordered alongside nic shots, kits, coils and the rest of our range. Orders over £150 get free delivery, and you can order a single trade pack of a line. The delivery cost is shown at checkout.
