100ml shortfill wholesale for sub-ohm customers

This collection holds our wholesale 100ml e-liquids: nicotine-free shortfills sold in bottles with space left for nicotine shots. Brands range from UK names like Chuffed, Kingston, Doozy and Dr Frost to US imports such as Five Pawns, Cosmic Fog and Candy King, with flavour picked on each listing.

A 100ml shortfill is the size most sub-ohm vapers buy once they know the flavour they like. It lasts longer than a 50ml bottle and is the standard format for repeat sales of a house favourite.

Mixing a 100ml shortfill to strength

Every bottle here is 0mg as sold. Customers add 10ml nicotine shots to reach the strength they want, so it helps if staff can explain the maths at the till.

  • No shots: 0mg

100ml straight from the bottle, for customers who have stopped using nicotine.

  • One 18mg shot: 1.6mg

    100ml plus one 10ml 18mg shot makes 110ml at about 1.6mg.

  • Two 18mg shots: 3mg

    100ml plus two 10ml 18mg shots makes 120ml at 3mg, the usual sub-ohm strength.

  • Higher VG

Most 100ml lines are high-VG for big vapour; Kingston 50/50 suits customers who want more throat hit.

Keep nic shots on the counter next to your shortfills, as nearly every 100ml sale needs two. Shortfill customers tend to use sub-ohm tanks and vape kits rather than pod devices, so they also come back for replacement coils.

Vaping duty on a 100ml shortfill

Vaping Products Duty is charged on the volume of liquid from 1 October 2026, and nicotine-free shortfills are included. At £2.20 per 10ml, the 100ml size carries the biggest duty cost per bottle in most shops:

  • £22 per bottle

Each 100ml shortfill carries £22 of duty, whatever the flavour or brand.

  • £4.40 more for shots

Two 10ml nic shots add £2.20 duty each, so a 120ml mix carries £26.40 in total.

  • Duty stamps

Duty-paid products released from 1 October 2026 must carry a stamp.

  • 31 March 2027

Unstamped stock made or imported before 1 October 2026 can be sold until this date.

Because duty is a fixed £22 per bottle, check your shelf prices on 100ml lines before you reorder. Our vape tax guide explains the duty, and our retailer compliance guide covers TPD and age checks.

Buying 100ml shortfills in bulk

A few things to check when you order 100ml e-liquid for your shop:

  • Order by flavour family. Brands like Chuffed list several ranges, so pick fruit, dessert and ice lines rather than every flavour at once.
  • Watch older stock. Sell through unstamped bottles before 31 March 2027 and rotate older stock to the front.
  • Match bottles to shots. Plan roughly two nic shots for every 100ml bottle you expect to sell.
  • Compare with 50ml. Some customers prefer to try a flavour in 50ml shortfills before moving up to 100ml.

Frequently asked questions

Why are 100ml e-liquids sold without nicotine?

UK TPD rules limit nicotine-containing e-liquid to 10ml bottles at up to 20mg/ml. A 100ml bottle can only be sold nicotine-free, so it is sold as a shortfill with space for the customer to add their own 10ml nicotine shots to reach the strength they want.

How do customers make 3mg from a 100ml shortfill?

They add two 10ml 18mg nicotine shots to the 100ml bottle, which makes 120ml at 3mg. One 18mg shot makes 110ml at roughly 1.6mg. Customers should shake the bottle well and leave it a short while before vaping.

Is there duty on nicotine-free shortfills?

Yes. Vaping Products Duty applies to nicotine-free liquid as well as nicotine e-liquid from 1 October 2026. At £2.20 per 10ml, each 100ml shortfill carries £22 of duty, and each 10ml nicotine shot added to it carries another £2.20.

Which devices suit 100ml shortfills?

Most 100ml lines are high-VG and are made for sub-ohm tanks and larger vape kits, which produce more vapour and use more liquid. They are generally too thick for small pod kits, where nic salts in 10ml bottles are the usual choice.

What does “50/50” mean on a 100ml shortfill?

It means the liquid is half vegetable glycerine and half propylene glycol. A 50/50 shortfill, such as Kingston 50/50, gives a stronger throat hit and suits mouth-to-lung tanks, while higher-VG shortfills give more vapour on sub-ohm devices.

Can I order 100ml shortfills with other stock?

Yes. Shortfills can go in the same order as nic shots, kits, coils and other products, and orders over £150 qualify for free delivery. You can order a single trade pack of a line, and the delivery charge is shown at checkout.

Try a flavour in 50ml first

Customers testing a new flavour often start with 50ml shortfills. For pod kit users, see nic salts, or browse all e-liquids. All products are sold to over-18s only.
