How to Use

Confirm you are 18 or over and already use nicotine.

Which coils and battery does the Voopoo Drag X2 take?

It takes one external 18650 cell, which is not included, and uses Voopoo PnP X coils in a PnP X pod. Two PnP X coils come in the box. PnP X coils are made in several resistances for different wattages, and the device reads from 0.1Ω to 3.0Ω.

Is the Drag X2 an MTL or DTL kit?

It is mainly a direct-lung kit. The supplied PnP X coils are sub-ohm and run at higher wattages, so it suits high-VG freebase e-liquid at lower nicotine strengths. Adults who want a tight MTL draw with 20mg nic salt are better served by a smaller pod kit.

How do you charge the Drag X2?

The fitted 18650 can be charged in the device through the USB Type-C port on the base. Many adult users also charge cells in a dedicated external charger and swap them in, which the magnetic battery panel makes quick.

How do I fill the pod and prime a new PnP X coil?

Add a few drops of e-liquid to the coil's wicking holes, fit it into the pod, then open the fill plug and fill to 2ml. Leave it for about five minutes before firing and start in Smart mode so power stays within the coil's rating.

Why is the UK Drag X2 pod only 2ml?

UK TPD rules limit refillable pods and tanks to 2ml, so the UK version of the PnP X pod holds 2ml. The international version holds 5ml and is not sold for the UK market.

Can UK shops still sell the Drag X2 after the single-use vape ban?

Yes. The 1 June 2025 ban applies to single-use vapes, and the Drag X2 has a removable battery, a refillable pod and replaceable coils. It is for sale to adults aged 18 and over only. Vaping Products Duty of £2.20 per 10ml from 1 October 2026 is charged on e-liquid, not on the device.

Is the Drag X2 suitable for beginners?

It suits adults with some vaping experience, because it needs a separately bought 18650 and runs sub-ohm coils. Smart mode makes it simpler to set up, but newer adult vapers usually start with a draw-activated pod kit.

How should an old Drag X2 or 18650 cell be disposed of?
