Is the Obelisk 65 an MTL or direct-lung kit?
It is a direct-lung kit. The 0.2Ω coil suits open DL vaping and the 0.4Ω coil a looser restricted-lung draw, both best with higher-VG freebase e-liquid. It is not intended for tight MTL vaping.
How long does it take to charge the Obelisk 65?
It charges at 2A through USB Type-C, and independent testing found a full charge from flat took just over an hour. How long a charge lasts depends on the coil and wattage used.
How do I fill the pod and prime a new coil?
Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton of a new B Series coil and push it into the pod. Lift the rubber bung, fill through the top port up to 2ml, refit the bung and wait about five minutes before vaping at a low wattage.
Is the Obelisk 65 legal in the UK after the single-use ban?
Yes. The ban from 1 June 2025 covers single-use disposable vapes, and the Obelisk 65 is rechargeable with a refillable pod and replaceable coils. It is sold to adults aged 18 and over. Vaping Products Duty (£2.20 per 10ml from 1 October 2026) applies to e-liquid, not the device.
